Mat Chapman
Owner
Mat is the co-owner and operator of Keyrenter Property Management Bergen County. Originally from Australia, Mat moved to the U.S. over 10 years ago after marrying Nancy, a Jersey Girl, and together they’ve made Bergen County home. With a background in business development, home remodeling, and mostly Real Estate sales, Mat brings a well-rounded perspective to property ownership and management.
After 8 years in real estate, Mat noticed that many landlords were worn out by the daily grind of managing rentals and needed a smarter, more professional solution. Together, Mat and Nancy built Keyrenter Bergen County to give property owners peace of mind, protect their assets and investments, and free up their time.
As a real estate investor in Australia, Mat saw firsthand the benefits of having a professional property manager. That experience, combined with his strong belief that rental income and real estate are among the best long-term life investments, inspired Mat and Nancy to launch Keyrenter Bergen County.
Outside of work, Mat enjoys the beach, golfing, and cheering on their three kids at their sports games.
